MYEYES: She has wide, bright blue eyes that don't come from her brown-eyed father or green-eyed mother. They're a beautiful vivid blue that comes from her mother's side of the family and she loves being the odd-ball and loves her eyes. They're probably one of very few things she actually likes about her appearance. MYFACE: While she has her father's hair, people often enough say most of her facial features come from her mother. She has a thin, relatively small nose and high cheekbones. Her ears are also a bit on the small side. She also has her mother's wide, bright white smile. She hates her mouth which includes a relatively thin upper lip and a rather full bottom lip and she finds it very weird and she hates it. MYBODY: Haley is tall and always was tall for her age. She is also very skinny from her past eating disorders, a healthy diet, and plenty of exercise. She has slight, feminine curves that she hates and criticizes herself for being too small. She got to spend time with her friends and family and she had a great time, probably the last really great memory she has before life got complicated. BADMEMORY: Her worst memories include any memories of her ex boyfriends, though the very worst is probably the night Josh Ford, her first boyfriend, tried to rape her. HISTORY: Haley Victoria Howell was born on a beautiful sunny afternoon on May 1st. She didn't allow her parent's much sleep in their small trailer at Quetico Park. She was a fussy baby who rarely slept and moved around a lot. It was hard to leave her alone much of anywhere for fear or her hurting herself, even at such a young age. As a toddler she was very hyperactive and easily got into trouble. She was also very much a daddy's girl and loved the time she got to spend with him. She was a relatively happy child, even if she got herself into trouble a lot. Haley made very close friendships with her cousins, Hunter and Sydney, and another child in the pack, Roxanne Wilder. When she was three years old her mom had another baby, a little brother named Ethan who she only liked and tolerated for a short time. The longer Ethan was around, the more Haley didn't like him. He took way too much attention and space and he was always whiny (though not nearly as fussy and active as Haley had been) and he annoyed her. Even when he got bigger he was still annoying. Haley was mean to her brother, though now and then they did have their good moments. No matter how mean she was to him, though, she never, ever let anyone else treat Ethan badly. Even as a young child she would hit or kick anyone who bullied him, which was a lot of people and a lot more often the older they both got. The promise of a good beating from Haley didn't stop bullies and in some cases, just gave them more to pick on Ethan about. When she was seven, a lot of people in her family went missing. Haley didn't know much of what was going on but she hated it. She didn't get to see her parents that much and she was always stuck with Ethan. Luckily she got to hang out with Hunter and Sydney and Roxanne a lot, too. It was a long time before things went back to normal and Haley couldn't have been happier when they did. She had missed her Aunt Abby and Aunt Whitney a lot, probably more than anyone but her parents. Even though Kayla and Derek hadn't been missing, they had spent so much time away either working or trying to find them and Haley was thrilled to have everyone happy and back in her life again. When she was eight, Haley developed a crush on a nine year old named Josh Ford. She carried that crush for a few years until she was twelve and at the same junior high Josh attended. She was ecstatic when Josh asked her out and things were good for a short time. Then one day Josh came over upset and he looked all beaten and horrible. Josh said his father had hit him and it wasn't for the first time. Josh treated her like a queen after that for a short time, then he began picking on her... Criticizing her looks and making her change her appearance to please him. Not long after that he started hitting her. It all ended one night when Ethan was at a friend's house and her parents were on a date. Josh sneaked in and tried to rape her, but her parents came home and her dad managed to pull Josh away. Her luck with relationships didn't get much better after Josh. Kyle Bertrand only wanted sex and cheated on her two weeks into their relationship. Adam Aycock turned out to be gay and had been using her to cover it up. Jake Woodard only dated her because he wanted to get closer to Roxanne. Austin Akers was dating Haley and a couple of other girls at the same time. Landon McCorvey used her to make his ex girlfriend jealous. Justin Charles dumped his girlfriend because she was pregnant and had nothing to do with her and didn't even show up for the birth of his child. Then there was Justin Cole who bullied her brother when Haley wasn't around. She hit Justin in a lot of fun places before dumping him. Later that day, though, he tried to get revenge by cornering her in the deserted hallway after her color guard meeting , being mean to her until Roxanne showed up and then Hunter came around to put an end to things. Not long after that incident, Hunter and Sydney shifted for the first time. Sydney had found out she was pregnant and had called Haley and Roxanne to go over there to be her support when she told her asshole of a boyfriend Shawn. They had gone over to comfort their friend and when Sydney told Shawn, he started to strangle her. Haley and Roxanne tried to stop him, but a bear came out of no where and attacked him, the bear being Hunter. Hunter killed Shawn and Sydney shifted in time to attack Hunter for it. Roxanne had nearly run into the middle of Hunter killing Shawn to "help" and stop Hunter from making a mistake. Haley had freaked out and felt so weird, wanting to help all of her friends and feeling like she couldn't help any of them. At the start of summer, Haley got a job at a diner called Do or Dine to save up money that summer to get a car before school started back for junior year. A week and a half after starting, Haley had to close up with a coworker named Aidan and they ended up having sex on the counter. Haley was so mad at herself because she wanted to save herself for marriage. She was really upset and avoided Aidan for nearly a week before they agreed to be friends, even though Haley slowly developed a crush on him. Not long after that incident Haley shifted for the first time when Aidan was giving her a ride home. He shifted into a lion to get her into the forest and distracted her so she couldn't hurt anyone.
