Not with Lorraine Danielle Crooks at least. Sure her family was happy, but it was by no means what mist people would consider a normal family. To most...the definition of that included a Mother, Father, children, and then all the in laws. Laurie was born into a family that could barely even be called that. Had Father was already married...already had a son when he got her Mother pregnant. There was plans of her Mother becoming his second wife, quite the different family...but growing up it was all that Laurie knew. She only had one sibling, he was just half...but that was a concept she didn't quite get at her age. Nor did she notice Donovan's obvious displeasure of her. If there was one thing Laurie loved it was being the center of attention and having Two babies around took just about all of it. No matter how much she did or did not like things, both her Mother and Penelope continued to have children. At least when she reached the age of fourteen, she had quite a bit to keep her distracted. It was like...everything changed, after she started to mature and get older...it was like she went from being invisible to the mist important person in the world. She loved the attention and even more than that she lives the way boys treated her.
