It is light brown in color, and naturally falls in relaxed waves. Styling it is easy, though Victoria usually prefers to wear it down to show off its length. She usually doesn't cut it any shorter than shoulder-length. MYEYES: Victoria's eyes are big, bright, and innocent, obscuring her true personality. They were hazel in color, but are now red, and are rimmed with thick eyelashes. MYFACE: Victoria's face is rather heart-shaped. She has high, prominent cheekbones, smooth cheeks, and a pointy little chin that actually looks good on her. Her nose is average in size and length, and her lips are plump, but not too much so. Overall, she has a very sweet and innocent look. MYBODY: Although she is a bit on the tall side, people usually describe Victoria as "tiny" because she has such a small frame. Her skin is the smooth, pale white color that describes the skin of all vampires. Her curves are not voluptuous, but rather very soft and feminine. SPECIAL: Victoria has her bellybutton pierced, and her ears pierced twice, as well as the cartilage on her left ear. She likes to tease and make out and have sex and make other people look bad, all to feel better about herself and to convince herself that she's the only person she really needs in life. Victoria isn't wild all the time, though. She has a very sweet face that she likes to use to her advantage. She can easily pass for a sweetheart, and when it will benefit her, that's exactly what she does. She can be very convincingly nice when she needs to be, and she's often used this talent to get revenge on people who have crossed her. Her claimed best memory was a party that she threw with Cathryn at a huge club in Ohio. Cathryn's family had enough money to buy the place completely out, and it was VIP's only. The Devilles really knew how to have a good time, and it was the best party that Victoria had ever been to. BADMEMORY: Her worst memory was when she was changed. It was the last time she ever saw Tad, and it hurt like hell for three straight days. When she woke up she had no idea what she was, and there was no one to help her. HISTORY: Lacey Dodge had only one soft spot - her father. She'd been at law school for a while and had opened up her mind, past the beliefs she had held through her conservative upbringing, and had become very independent. Her father, however, would always hold her heart. He didn't necessarily disagree with the relationship that Lacey was in, but he could see what could very well be in store for his daughter - and he was right. Lacey was going out with a man named Richard "Dick" Dodge, wannabe pharmacist who had little money for school. Lacey did love him, but her father was concerned about the success the man would have, as well as his eventual ability to take care of Lacey. Dick wasn't an only child, and his older brother, Luke, was the favorite. Luke was considered to have far greater potential than Dick, and he got all of the support and the money from their parents, while Dick was left with nearly nothing. Still, Dick tried hard, and Lacey loved him enough to promise that she would help him as much as she could. After all, her career was sure to be a success. Dick was grateful at first, and it made him work even harder. But a marriage and two kids later, it was easy for him to take advantage of Lacey's wealthy income. Lacey was disgusted, saying that Dick's parents had been right about him all along. Her father had never approved of divorce, though, and even after he had passed, Lacey refused to dishonor him by divorcing her pig of a husband. The two children they had were both girls, about two years apart. The eldest was Victoria Lane Dodge, and she took after her mother quite strongly. Even as a young child she held that same independence that her mother had, and was even a bit selfish. She was bossy when she played with other children, and she wasn't afraid to speak her mind. Her mother encouraged the behavior, if only to make sure that she didn't end up like Dick. When she entered school, Victoria's pushy attitude didn't get her very far. The other kids didn't like her very much, but Victoria didn't care too much about what they thought. Still, some friends would be nice, and she quickly learned that you caught more flies with honey than with vinegar. Victoria tweaked her personality a bit, using her cute looks and newfound sweet demeanor to get what she wanted from her classmates and from teachers. As Victoria grew older, she cared less and less about what other people thought of her, and she had a few good friends who were like her enough to not really care how she treated other people. Victoria still played nice with people who had something to offer her, and it worked rather well. She loved going to her classmates' parties, especially the Halloween ones. It was at one of these parties where she first got pregnant, in her freshman year of high school. Victoria slowed down for a little while after that. The shock of being pregnant hit her hard, and she had no idea how to deal with it, besides getting an abortion as soon as possible. Her older cousin took her to the clinic where the abortion was performed, and Victoria hated that empty feeling she got afterwards, like she had done something horrible. She hadn't allowed herself to get attached to her baby, but it was still difficult for her and she never wanted it to happen again. The rest of high school simmered down for a bit. Victoria stuck more to her nice personality side, though she was never a complete sweetheart and actually meant it. She perked up a bit when one of the best soccer players at her school, Tad Hooper, broke his leg. He was hot, and Victoria jumped in to help him, carrying his books to his classes and such things for him. She hadn't felt like herself since her abortion and really just wanted someone to play with, someone that she wouldn't have to get serious with and who could just share her fun. But Tad was a good guy, and even though she wasn't attracted to "good boy" types, he somehow was finding his way into her heart. Of course, she only realized this after he had graduated. Victoria had never actually had feelings for anyone before, but she was less concerned with what these feelings would mean for her, and more concerned with appeasing them. She wanted her Tad back. She spent most of her summer with him, and couldn't hide her joy when he asked her to go out with him. She'd thought he never would, and was about ready to ask him herself if he didn't do it soon. Her parents didn't mind the age difference - it was only two years after all, and even if they had said anything, Victoria wouldn't have cared. She didn't even care how fairytale-princess she was being about the whole thing, thinking about Tad all the time and imagining her future with him. The two continued dating throughout the last two years of Victoria's high school career, and on the day she was to graduate, Tad set up a date for her that she had to find through some elaborate scavenger hunt. If anyone else had tried it with her she would have been annoyed, but it was just one of those things that Tad did that made him... well, Tad. Victoria truly enjoyed herself and was touched by all the effort that he went to to make her special day even more special, and she was all smiles by the time she found him. Things got even better - he proposed to her, and Victoria happily accepted. All of her silly little dreams about a future with Tad were coming true. Their happiness didn't last for long, though. The date was crashed by a small group of vampires who pulled the couple apart and dragged Victoria off. Victoria didn't know it, but they had been ordered to kill her and to bring Tad to their coven leader. One of the vampires tried to drain Victoria, but he was sloppy and not at all thorough with the job. He left Victoria barely alive and in indescribable pain. For three days she hovered on the brink of death, feeling as though her entire body was on fire, before it all finally simmered down and she felt better than she ever had before. Victoria had no idea where she was, or what had happened to her. She freaked out the first time she had to drink blood, but fortunately she was able to get away from the small group of homeless people that came after her once she had drained their friend. Piecing her cravings and the memory of her attack together with her new appearance and abilities, Victoria realized what she was. She had always been very open-minded about the existence of a supernatural realm of werewolves and vampires and ghosts and such things, and the realization that she was a vampire probably didn't hit her quite as hard as it would the average person. The only thing missing from Victoria's new life was Tad. He was gone, and she couldn't find him anywhere. The vampires had probably killed him, she thought bitterly. He was the only man she had ever loved, and he was gone. She needed him, and for the first time that thought brought up feelings of horror. There was no absolute guarantee, she realized, that any person would be in her life forever. She was the only person that she could truly count on, because the only person that she couldn't be separated from was herself. Victoria left Canada after that. She never returned home, and instead went south a little bit, passing into America and hanging out in Ohio for a while. She explored the necessities of maintaining her new vampire body, and mixed up those needs with the partying, devil-may-care lifestyle that she had had before her first abortion. History repeated itself, and Victoria found herself pregnant again. This time, however, it was easy to go through with the abortion. She didn't want the baby; it was just a souvenir from some useless guy at a party. If he had just left his shirt at her house it wouldn't have been any different in Victoria's eyes. She aborted the baby without a second thought, but it still wasn't something that she loved to talk about. After a while in Ohio, Victoria met up with Cathryn Vulcan, a promising new friend that held a lot of the same beliefs that Victoria did. The two of them had a great time together, partying it up and doing all sorts of things together that really relaxed Victoria even more. She still wasn't over Tad, but she was well on her way and she intended to move on completely. When Cathryn's family was ready to leave Ohio, Victoria went with them. Why not? Cathryn had been talking about a new coven that she wanted to create, one that was independent from her mother's but still not entirely separate. Victoria thought it was an awesome idea, and Cathryn's brother Cameron showed interest in the coven as well. Cathryn built up the coven and named her brother second in command, while Victoria was the first member and unofficial "third."
