The more self control and willpower a person has, the harder it is to get through to them, and she can't force people to change themselves in any way and has not been able to force people to do anything big like murder, though she believes with enough practice she could. Still, Jennifer chose to stand by Javier, but when Elliot was three months old he asked for a divorce and asked Rosario to move in with him, with her other children Isadora and Leonardo. Elliot was only three when Rosario got pregnant again. Adriana Gabrielle Castro was born the baby of the family. She grew up in Texas in a trailer park, sharing a room with her sisters: all three of them. All of the boys shared their own room and their parents had their own room. They struggled to get by and life was hard. They barely had food, they wore hand-me-down clothes, and now and then they would even steal things in order to survive. Rosario was a waitress looking for a second job while Javier struggled maintaining his position as a clerk at a convenient store and also had trouble finding another job. For several years they managed, but when Adriana was seven, they were kicked out of their home and made to live on the streets. After a few months in homeless shelters, they went to stay with Rosario's mother, Teresa Lopez. Teresa was a horrible woman who made them all work on her house while she slept and snapped at them, something especially hard for the always exhausted Javier and Rosario. Rosario dealt with it, but Javier was determined to get out. He started selling drugs and even killed a man while robbing the convenient store he worked at. He was arrested and they went to court for over a year, but he was let go, since the jury didn't see enough evidence. A lucky break for Javier, but his relationship with Rosario was falling apart. When Adriana was ten, Javier took her and her sisters to a bad part of town and started whoring them out. Adriana lost her virginity at the age of ten in the back of a van to a man she didn't even know and it was too dark for her to even see him. The money from prostitution and drugs was enough to get them into an apartment, a bit nicer and a good step up from their old trailer. Rosario, oblivious to the way her daughters were being exploited, was more in love with Javier than ever. The girls said nothing. For three years, their father continued to whore them out and took them to get bad abortions whenever they got pregnant. By the time she was fifteen, Adriana had suffered two miscarriages and had been put through five abortions. She even contracted a few STDs, but Javier didn't want to waste money on doctor's visits or medicine and so Adriana was made to suffer. Luckily, when things were more noticeable, she didn't have to go with her sisters. Adriana hated her father and stood up to him and her clients more and more, getting her more than enough bruises and a few broken bones. That was when Rosario began taking notice, though she never could believe the truth. Adriana wasn't sure if she honestly didn't buy it, or if she just didn't want to. Adriana hated her parents, but there was no way out until she was eighteen. When she was seventeen her father sold her off to some rich bastard for the night, but she found herself saved by a handsome man. He killed her client in a flash and Adriana hardly knew what was going on. The man warned her that the guy had AIDS and that she would be okay now. He asked her if she wanted to be strong and take care of herself and she said yes. The stranger whose name she never learned explained what he was and he bit her, leaving her writhing in pain on the penthouse floor. Three days later she woke up surrounded by police. An investigation for the death of Porter Simon. No one suspected Adriana, she was only yet another victim and she was only asked a few questions, but she played oblivious, acting like she had been hit over the head before she saw anything. With that, Adriana went off and in the middle of the night killed her father and left money she had gone back to steal from Porter Simon's home with them. It was the last good deed Adriana ever did. Ever since she's been traveling the country, making herself stronger. She's learned self defense and doesn't take crap from anybody. She likes to party in club and rob banks and shoplifting from malls. She loves sex and is grateful to have none of the problems as a vampire that she had as a human.
